Eric is the QLD State Director at CAAA, focusing primarily on Advisory and Transactions. With a background grounded in Economics, Eric began his career in Audit at EY before moving into the commercial sector as a Risk Advisor at Suncorp Bank. Later, he was a founder of an accounting practice in Brisbane, which eventually merged with CAAA.

He is passionate about driving change within the accounting industry — particularly through automation and innovation. Eric believes the future of the profession lies in freeing accountants from repetitive tasks to focus on delivering true strategic value to clients.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at CAAA, Eric highlights the strong sense of community and mutual respect across all levels of the firm — a culture he believes is rare in a practice of its size.

Outside of work, Eric enjoys writing and reading, spending time with his young family, and keeping active at the gym or on a run. Known for his slightly offbeat dad jokes, he’s most proud of his children and proudly follows the AFL thanks to his wife’s dedication to the Brisbane Lions.

Eric’s values are centred on integrity, fairness, and humility. He believes success comes from perseverance and learning through failure.
